A Newcomer in Adapted Travel

Spa Tours announces an addition to its variety of services.

Since its main objective is to help travelers find an inner well-being, Spa Tours announces it will now specialize in the offer of transportation and assistance services for small homogeneous groups of people with physical or intellectual disabilities.

Getaways and tours will be offered in various regions of Quebec, like the Eastern Townships, Québec City, Charlevoix, Lac-Saint-Jean and the Gatineau-Ottawa region.

Travelers will be lodged in quality hotels, and rooms will be adapted according to the recommendations of La Route Accessible and Kéroul.

Departures will be from Montreal, on board an adapted vehicle driven by the qualified guide which will accompany and assist the travelers during the trip.

The maximum number of people traveling at the same time will be limited to six, mostly for security reasons, but also to ensure all travelers enjoy a calm and pleasant trip. For groups which will be accompanied by an independent assistant, Spa Voyages will offer to pay for the travel expenses of this assistant.

These getaways are meant to help people discover new traveling horizons and create lasting memories. They will allow travelers to observe nature’s fauna and flora, visit historical sites, walk through interesting neighbourhoods of towns, and experience particular events. Travelers might also have the opportunity to go to a concert or to visit a museum, upon availability. These trips were created to stimulate curiosity and discussion. The slow traveling pace enhances the integration and wonder of travelers.
